The location is ideal for taking a visit to Genova, with the Aquarium (20km), one of the richest and interesting in Europe, the Porto Antico and the nearby historical district of the Molo, La Lanterna, and the museums. One may reach Nervi (9 minutes by train), Camogli (12 minutes), Pieve Alta, the Monte di Santa Croce, the Monte di Portofino. During the summer many of these excursions (Porto Antico, the Aquarium, Camogli, Portofino, Portovenere and Cinque Terre) can be made with a boat that leaves from the Bogliasco pier.
